The Baths of Caracalla could accommodate more than 1,500 people. In its broadest extension, including fence, the building measured 337x328 feet (including the exedrae to 400 meters), and the only main 220x114 feet, with one room of the steam bath that reached 140 meters, only the Baths of Diocletian are larger.
